IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES
Key Secure by Codelocks cabinets are supplied fully assembled, ready to install in your chosen location. Cabinets are provided with 1/4” mounting holes through the back of the cabinet, accessible while the cabinet door is open. Cabinets must be installed by a competent person, at a height suited to the users, using appropriate fasteners for the wall type and cabinet weight (including keys and/or padlocks).- Pencil
- Spirit level
- Power drill
- Screwdriver
- Fasteners to suit wall material
- Drill bits to suit chosen fasteners
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- With the door open, position the cabinet against the wall making sure it is level and at a suitable height. Mark the position of the mounting holes.
- Put the cabinet down and drill the holes using the appropriate drill bit for the wall type and fasteners.
- Secure the cabinet to the wall using your chosen fasteners. Tighten each fastener a little at a time, rather than one fully, to avoid distorting the cabinet.

Floor standing cabinets are extremely heavy and must be secure to a wall to prevent tipping. In addition, we recommend floor standing cabinets are secured to the floor - please note that no mounting holes are provided in the base of the cabinet.Floor standing cabinets should be installed on a flat floor or plinth that is suitable for the weight of the cabinet (including keys and/or padlocks). Please note, when opening the doors, the cabinet can tip forwards. Ensure you have a second person to help install these cabinets.- With the door open, and a second person holding the cabinet upright, position the cabinet against the wall making sure it is level. Mark the position of the mounting holes.
- Move the cabinet to one side and drill the holes using the appropriate drill bit for the wall type and fasteners.
- Secure the cabinet to the wall using your chosen fasteners. Tighten each fastener a little at a time, rather than one fully, to avoid distorting the cabinet.
