How to request a NetCode via SMS

1. For a phone number to be able to request a NetCode it will first need to be added to the whitelist.  To do this, from the Codelocks Connect portal homepage click on Manage your Locks & Access, then Whitelist.

2. Click on Add New and when prompted, input a name and phone number, and click Save.

Note: Enter the number in an international format, for example, in the UK, the phone number 07123456789 would be entered as 447123456789.



3. Now this phone number has been whitelisted it will be able to request NetCodes. These are billed at two credits per request, one credit for the SMS and one credit for the NetCode.

4. From the lock detail page, take note of the identifier number found under REQUEST VIA SMS and give this to the user.

Note: The identifier is case-sensitive and must not have any spaces in the SMS. 



5. The whitelisted user can now text this identifier to one of the below numbers and will receive a response containing a NetCode. 

UK: +447520633332

Germany: +4917717870120

Note: Other numbers may be available on request. Please be aware that additional charges may apply.

6. All NetCodes requested via SMS have a duration of two hours starting from the hour it was requested. For example, if a NetCode is requested at 2:34pm, it will permit access between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.
